“Not Sure Which Machine I Should Use?”
Why Brush Sanding Machine?
Our brush sanding machine is an industrial surface finishing machine that uses rotating abrasive brushes instead of sanding belts to refine wood surfaces after CNC machining.
The brushes are made from different materials such as nylon, abrasive filaments, or steel wire, depending on the application.
Advance flexible contact technology was used in our brush sanding machines, which allows the brushes to adapt to surface irregularities, edges, grooves, and CNC machining marks.
Our Machine Can Do:
Brush Sanding Machine Feature.
Our industrial brush sanding machines are designed for global furniture manufacturers who require stable performance and cost efficiency.
- Industrial-Grade Structure: Heavy-duty welded steel frame ensures stability during continuous operation.
- Flexible Brush Configuration: Supports nylon, abrasive, and steel wire brushes.
- Adjustable Speed System: Conveyor speed and brush rotation can be independently controlled.
- Customization: Machine width, brush layout, and control systems can be customized.
Brush Sanding Unit
The cross brush unit is designed for multi-directional surface sanding and fiber removal. It rotates in a crossing or intersecting movement pattern, allowing the brush to contact the surface from different angles.
- Multi-Directional Sanding: Cross brush units process the surface from different directions, eliminating linear sanding marks.
- Uniform Surface Refinement: It ensures consistent surface roughness across the entire panel.
- CNC Tool Mark Reduction: Effectively removes spiral or directional marks left by CNC machining.
- Fiber Trimming: Helps remove raised wood fibers on MDF, plywood, and solid wood surfaces.
The disc brush unit uses multiple rotating circular brushes mounted on vertical or angled axes. It is designed for edge, groove, and complex surface finishing.
- Edge & Profile Finishing: Disc brushes are ideal for processing edges, grooves, and shaped surfaces.
- Deep Surface Contact: They can reach recessed or uneven areas that roller brushes cannot access.
- Fine Sanding Control: Allows precise adjustment for light sanding or polishing effects.
- Complex Geometry Processing: Suitable for carved or CNC-shaped components.
The longitudinal brush unit uses horizontal roller brushes that move along the length direction of the panel. It is the main surface finishing unit in most brush sanding machines.
- Main Surface Sanding: Responsible for primary surface refinement of flat panels.
- CNC Mark Removal: Efficiently removes linear machining marks from CNC routing.
- Wood Grain Enhancement: Enhances natural grain visibility in solid wood materials.
- Pre-Coating Surface Preparation: Creates an even and clean surface for painting or laminating.
Application
Cabinet Door
Brush sanding machines are extensively used in cabinet door production, especially for MDF and engineered wood panels.
Main Applications:
- Removal Of CNC Machining Tool Marks
- Surface Smoothing Before Painting
- Pre-Coating Surface Preparation
MDF & Plywood Panel
Brush sanding machines can solve micro burrs and roughness by applying controlled flexible abrasion.
Functions:
- Surface Leveling (Non-Calibration)
- Fiber Trimming
- Improved Coating Absorption
- Smooth Finishing Before Lamination Or Painting
Solid Wood Furniture
Solid wood products require not only smooth surfaces but also natural texture enhancement.
Benefits:
- Enhances Natural Wood Grain Visibility
- Removes Uneven Fiber Structure
- Improves Tactile Surface Quality
- Prepares Wood For Oil Or Lacquer Finishing
