Edge Processing Capabilities.

Straight Edge Banding
Straight edge banding is the most common application for furniture and cabinet panels. The machine applies edge material along a straight panel edge to cover the exposed core and create a clean, finished appearance.

Curved Edge Banding
Curved edge banding is designed for furniture components with rounded, curved or irregular profiles. Compared with straight edge processing, the operator needs greater control when guiding the workpiece around the curve.

45° Bevel Edge Banding
45° bevel edge banding is used to finish beveled panel edges and create a distinctive modern furniture appearance. It is particularly useful for handleless cabinet designs and furniture components where the edge itself forms part of the product design.
How to Select the Right Manual Edge Banding Machine.
1. Define the workpiece geometry
List every panel type you need to process. Include straight edges, outside curves, inside curves, circles, corners, bevels, and irregular profiles. Send a drawing when the shape is difficult to describe.
2. Confirm panel and edge dimensions
Provide panel thickness, min. panel size, edge width, edge thickness, and min. curve radius.
3. Set the output
Estimate batch size, and product mix. A handheld or portable unit may suit varied low-volume work. Repeated shaped parts may justify a 700-3 banding and trimming cell.
4. Choose the adhesive process
Confirm EVA, PUR, or another hot-melt adhesive.
5. Review finishing requirements
Some machines apply and cut the edge only. Others support trimming or additional finishing steps. Define the desired finished edge before selecting a configuration.
6. Check utilities and installation
Confirm local voltage, phase, frequency, and compressed-air supply.
Manual Edge Banding Machine Application

Cabinet Manufacturing
Cabinet manufacturers can use manual edge banders for cabinet sides, shelves, doors and customized components. For small cabinet shops, a manual machine can provide professional edge finishing without requiring a complete automatic production line.

Wardrobe Manufacturing
Wardrobe manufacturers may process panels in different sizes and configurations. A flexible manual edge bander can support small-batch and custom wardrobe production.

Custom Furniture
Custom furniture is one of the strongest applications for manual edge banding. Each order may involve different shapes, materials and dimensions, making flexibility particularly valuable.

Interior Fit-Out Workshops
Interior contractors may need to process furniture components as part of larger interior projects. Portable or compact manual machines can be useful when equipment needs to be moved or production space is limited.

Furniture Repair
Manual edge banders can also be used for repair and refurbishment work where only a limited number of panels need to be processed.
